About
I am a California state-licensed clinical psychologist and have been in private practice for over 25 years. In my private practice, I see a diverse group of clients, who represent different racial and ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, gender identities, and sexual orientations. I enjoy and have experience working with people of all ages, including adults, teens, and children with a wide range of concerns.
I work from the perspective that people strive to understand themselves, and want to create positive change in their lives so they can meet their potential. I am able to offer strategies for managing negative thought patterns that may be perpetuating counterproductive behaviors and blocking pathways to change. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be helpful when someone is experiencing signs of depression, anxiety, worry, ADHD, trauma, and/or low self-esteem.
